We are very excited to welcome to The Centre the buddhist monk Venerable Monchai Mantagamo to guide you through some buddhist meditation techniques.
Ven. Monchai Mantagamo is ordained in the Thai Buddhist tradition and is an experienced teacher of Dhammakaya meditation, the abbot of the Dhammakaya meditation centre in Berlin, and more importantly, a generous and wise man. He holds a PhD in Buddhist Studies, and is also versed in the ancient Thai, Pali language.
He will give a guided meditation and talk about the importance of meditation followed by an opportunities to ask questions and get feedback about your meditation.
It is a technique which known as 'Dhammakaya meditation' (i.e., meditation for attaining the dhammakāya). It is a meditation technique designed to be applied easily and for the common good. It originates from Thailand's Wat Paknam and provides a technique for meditators to verify for themselves, through firsthand experience, the success of the technique.
