Join us for this day long workshop dedicated to the practice and theory of Buddhist meditation. We will learn simple ways to create and cultivate happiness within ourselves and how to manage effectively the distractions that can make meditation a challenge. There will the opportunity to try different techniques, to ask questions and share feelings and experiences. 

 

This workshop marks the beginning of regular weekly classes to be held every Wednesday 19:45 at The Centre. 

 

Both the morning and the afternoon sessions will include a guided meditation and a walking meditation session in the beautiful grounds of The Centre. This will be followed by an opportunity for you to ask questions about the meditation techniques and about your experiences and a study of the two main theories of Buddhist meditation "Two Kinds of Thought" & "Accompanied by Loving Kindness" 

There will be an hour lunch break at 12:30 where we recommend that you bring a light lunch. The Centre is a beautiful traditional Cypriot house surrounded by a park where you are welcome to eat your lunch. There are also a couple of cafes and a Pandora close by also.

Demis Baldivieso has 13 years of experience practicing meditation and over the last 3 years he has dedicated himself exclusively to this.
